Royal 116-T is used where abrasive conditions are present; providing excellent heat and/or corrosion resistance. Royal 116-T retains its hardness even after being heated to elevated temperatures thus making it the perfect choice for machine valves and seats, shear blades, hot punches, saw guides, plastic extrusion screws, etc. Royal 116-T adheres to weldable alloy steels, including stainless.
